We are pleased to announce that Aegis Anesthesia is accepting private medical insurance for pediatric office sedation.  Currently, we are “in-network” providers for over 95% of the patients in North Texas. This will substantially reduce patient costs and provide more opportunities for patient care in your office.  Parents will now be able to access their medical insurance to cover the pediatric anesthesiologist’s professional fees.

Aegis Anesthesia provides the highest level of care by staffing with the full complement of personnel that you will find in a pediatric hospital or surgery center.  We have an anesthesia technician and PALS-certified RN present for all procedures. Our mission is for our physicians to partner with patients to provide the highest quality anesthetic care for them in a safe and comfortable environment.

Using evolved modern pediatric anesthesia techniques and medications has led to a greater level of satisfaction from the child, parent  and dentist.  We have eliminated the use of “ketamine shots” which results in a more rapid emergence and less delirium.
