Our History

Aegis Anesthesia, formerly North Texas Children's Anesthesia (NTCA), is group of board-certified pediatric and general anesthesiologists. Over the last 20 years, the founding partners of North Texas Children's Anesthesia responded to parent's request for specialized pediatric care by bringing pediatric anesthetic safety and quality standards to community healthcare facilities. Having successfully started many pediatric anesthesia programs at surgery centers and dental offices throughout the Metroplex and beyond, NTCA has now expanded its services to include adult patients. As a result, Aegis Anesthesia was formed in 2014. By creating Aegis Anesthesia, we are expanding our group with new physicians and extending our scope of practice to include adult anesthesia services along with our neonatal and pediatric anesthesia practice in the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area. With changing healthcare models, we believe it is vital to offer services that cover a broad spectrum of the population, from premature neonates to geriatric patients.
