Stan L. Davis MD, PA- Biography
Stan L. Davis, MD, FAAP, is co-founder and managing partner of Aegis Anesthesia, formerly North Texas Children's Anesthesia (NTCA), a group of board-certified pediatric and general anesthesiologists. He is founding partner of Children Are Special, LLC, a newly formed physician-owned network of pediatric physicians. He is co-founder and managing partner of Anesthesia Partners of North Texas LLP and Pediatric Anesthesia Locum Solutions, LLP. He is past Medical Director at Cook Children’s Pediatric Surgery Center in Plano 2005-2014. With nearly 30 years of experience in healthcare education, development and management, Dr. Davis brings a unique perspective on the future of private practice for pediatricians.
Dr. Davis’ area of clinical interest has focused on pediatric critical care and pediatric cardiac anesthesia. His postgraduate training included completion of a pediatric residency, pediatric critical care fellowship and anesthesiology residency. He is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and Subspecialty Certification in Pediatric Anesthesiology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is also board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.
His past professional experience includes Assistant Clinical Professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, Interim Director of Pediatric Anesthesiology at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas, and President of Children’s Anesthesia Resources in Dallas.
Dr. Davis’ has committed to the well-being of children by advising and consulting on children’s medical issues and volunteering as a pediatric anesthesiologist on surgical mission trips, exemplifying his passion and vision for improving the care of children. He believes that preserving the private practice pediatrician and pediatric sub-specialists is best for the care of children in North Texas.
